Newcastle United vs Manchester United
Recap
LATE GOALS SECURE ALL THREE POINTS FOR RED DEVILS
Manchester United responded positively to their Tottenham nightmare when they scored three late goals to decisively beat Newcastle United 4-1 at St James’ Park. It was an ominous start for the visitors when Luke Shaw deflected Emil Krafth’s cross into his own net after only two minutes but Harry Maguire’s 23rd minute equaliser settled any nerves at that point. The Red Devils were awarded a second half penalty but Bruno Fernandes was denied by Karl Darlow’s brilliant save. A rousing finish saw Fernandes make up for his earlier miss when he thumped the Manchester side in front before Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Marcus Rashford ensured their side’s second win of the season.
